Pakistan likely to play four spinners in Sharjah – Cricket News Roundup – Part III – September 3, 2012
Pakistan captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-c1972 has hinted at playing a four-pronged spin attack in the final ODI against Australia, at Sharjah, on Monday, September 3, 2012.
However, he said that they have not yet finalized the starting XI for the crunch game, and will take a call only after assessing the pitch and playing conditions at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
“Playing a fourth spinner depends on what sort of wicket we get in Sharjah,” Misbah told media reporters on Sunday. “It might be a problem for the spinners (to bowl in the second half) because of the dew factor. We have to look into everything,” he went
on to add.
The three-ODI series is currently levelled 1-1, after Australia won the first match by four wickets and Pakistan bounced back at Abu Dhabi with a seven-wicket win.

While speaking to media reporters ahead of the series decider, Hussey said that they have been playing the right-arm off-spinner defensively so far in the series, but will change their strategy come the final ODI on Monday night.
“He's a fantastic bowler. But we have to change our game plan. We're defending him a little bit and to our [peril]. Maybe the best form of defence is attacking him,” Hussey was quoted as saying by Sydney Morning Herald on Sunday.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746’s former T20 skipper Cameron White is relishing his second opportunity to play for the national team after having been recalled for the upcoming T20 series against Pakistan.
“It’s great to get another chance to play,” said White during a media interaction on Monday. “I enjoyed the 2010 World Cup and we got pretty close (finalists) so it would be nice to go one better this time,” he added further.
The 29-year-old middle-order batsman from Victoria has not played for Australia since October 2011, when he was dumped as the T20 skipper. However, his impressive form in this year’s Indian Premier League and Friends Life T20 tournament earned him selectors
nod for the forthcoming World T20 Championship in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758.
