Pakistan name women squad for Twenty20 Asia Cup – Cricket News Update
Pakistan Cricket Board’s Women Wing, on Tuesday announced national squad for the latest edition of the Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup, to be held in Guangzhou, China between October 22 and November 1.
Prolific all-rounder Sana Mir, who is one of the top 20 women cricketers in the world, has been retained as the skipper of the 15-member squad. Pakistan Cricket Board has announced to arrange a pre-tournament training camp at Lahore Country Club, from October 15-20, and the entire team will attend the camp.
"The training camp of the team will commence from October 15 here at the Country Club, Muridke,” said a PCB spokesman on Tuesday.

The format sees two group matches played per day, with the semi-finals scheduled for October 30. The final will be played on October 31.
Pakistan Women will open their campaign in the Twenty20 Asia Cup against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thailand-c3020 on the opening day, October 24, at Guanggong International Cricket Stadium, in Guangzhou.
The other match on the opening day involves hosts China and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747. This will be Bangladesh's first appearance in the regional T20 tournament, since attaining ODI status in November 2011.
