Pakistan skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq, believes that with a consistent performance in the 2011 season and the Asia Cup victory, his team has shaken off the tag of being an unpredictable side.
"People should think and look at the statistics," said Misbah speaking to the media reporters on his return home from Dhaka, after a successful Asia Cup tournament.
"Pakistan have the best win ratio in the world over the last one-and-a-half years and an unpredictable team does not have such a ratio," he added further.
The Misbah-ul-Haq-led Pakistan side did not lose a series across all the three formats in the 2011 season.
In the last year and a half, Pakistan won against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in the 4-0 ODI whitewash.
In the recently concluded quadrangular one-day tournament in Bangladesh, also featuring Sri Lanka and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, Misbah’s Men in Green defeated the hosts by two runs in a nail-biting Asia Cup final on Thursday to clinch the title for the first
time since 2000.
Misbah is mostly criticised for his defensive captaincy approach as well as slow batting, which often costs his side the game. Unlike other hard-hitting middle-order batsmen, the skipper often tends to face too many dot balls in the One-Day
games, which results in increasing the required run rate in the death overs.

There have been growing calls for the 37-year-old middle-order batsman to hang his boots of late. But Misbah is not ready to get bothered by the criticism and the retirement calls.
"Most of the critics are those who have not played cricket in their lives and one should not listen to them," said Misbah. "My focus is on cricket and I will try to play the best cricket for Pakistan. Once I feel I am not enjoying cricket,
there's no point playing it," he insisted.
Misbah also lavished praised on the Bangladesh cricket team, which started the tournament as undisputed minnows but finished as the runners up, making it to the finals by defeating tournament favourites India and Sri Lanka.
