Pakistan proposed options for resuming Indo-Pak bilateral cricketing ties - Cricket News Update
On the backdrop of improving relations between traditional Asian rivals, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) came up with a proposal to resume normal cricketing bilateral contacts between the two nations.
In a positive development, Pakistan has proposed to host India at home or stage the series on a neutral venue, and if both options are not workable, then the PCB has put forward a third - to play its home series in India. PCB Chairman Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf
said that they have already inquired about the potential venues for the series.
"It is only the basic principal issue which we have put forward. If they (BCCI) agree on that we can start discussion on the revenue sharing, and either it has to be revenue sharing or sole ownership of the series," Ashraf said.
"If it is an Indian series we can go and play there and BCCI gets all the revenue and if they give us two stadium, PCB can play their own series there and the revenue can come to Pakistan Cricket Board," the PCB chief further added.
