Pakistan has taken off with an imposing start at the Hong Kong Sixes tournament, after earning an impressive, 23 runs win against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sohail-c90628 Tanvir’s superb contribution under
both the departments of bowling and batting.
The 5-over aside match took off at the Kowloon venue, after South African Captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lenert-van-Wyk-c72461, against Pakistan’s opening batting pair, built on
Skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sharjeel-Khan-c89775.
Unfortunately for the Men in Green, the side suffered an early blow at the line-up after Razzaq failed to spend much time on the pitch, making a duck out departure to the pavilion, following a caught out dismissal off Cameron’s match opening delivery.
Razzaq was then replaced by one-down batsman, Tanvir, who came in to accompany Khan. The newly formed pair took no time to settle in, and hurled onto whacking some swift boundaries and out of the parks, pouring in quick runs for the Men in Green.

As for Tanvir’s stint, the all-rounder too added a rapid contribution on Pakistan’s aggregate, scoring 38 runs from 8 deliveries, complements to his 6 out of the parks.
Having lost two additional wickets, Pakistan finally piled up a well-played chase for the South African side, worth 111 runs in 5 overs.
As for the Proteas’ batting response, the side kicked off with an impressive start, as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-Robert-Cowdrey-c60631 Wyk, in association with Skipper Mosehle, came out as side’s openers.
However, the team lost its first wicket off http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Razzaq-c84421’s delivery, which marked Mosehle’s timber, leaving Cameron to take over the Captain’s spot on the crease.
The newly formed pair managed to stall the side’s innings through the addition of some quick runs, coming off boundaries and sixes, but with Tanvir reducing the Proteas to lose another wicket, the South African side was forced to fall 23 runs off the mark,
handing over an opening win for the Men in Green.
