The West Indies fast bowler, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/R-Rampaul-c2233, feels after breaking the  his side will be on the way to win the opening Test of the two-match series when the two sides resume the match on Sunday.
While talking to the media reporters on Saturday, the 26-year-old Trinidad pacer said that the hosts are just one wicket away from the breakthrough.
"We are one wicket away from the breakthrough,” said Rampaul. “We started really well and with the assistance the bowlers are getting from the pitch we believe we can win this match. The ball swung at the start of the innings and I was able to hit my areas.
We will come back in the morning (Sunday) and run in hard at the Pakistan batsmen again," he added further.
The right-arm medium pacer has improved tremendously over the past few months. He returned with outstanding figures of 5 for 51 against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in Chennai during a group match of the recently concluded World Cup.
In the five-match One Day International Series against men in green earlier this month, Rampaul picked up four wickets in the third and fifth ODIs played in Barbados Guyana respectively.
The Trinidad pacer attributed the credit of his improved form and fitness to the West Indies coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ottis-Delroy-Gibson-c80358.
"Last year I had an injury in the Test match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757. After that I spoke to the coach and he offered me some great advice,” revealed Rampaul. “He told me I needed to improve my fitness levels and he also told me I could bowl a lot faster and
be a major asset to the team.”
He further added that he worked in all areas of his game and made a comeback to the international cricket with a new focus. Rampaul said that he had been doing a lot of good work with Gibson and the time he spent with the coach is paying off.
