Pakistan trio to miss rest of England tour
The three Pakistan players implicated in the spot-fixing scandal that has rocked the cricket world will miss the remainder of the team’s series against England, it has been announced.
Pacemen Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif, and Test captain Salman Butt remain under investigation in relation to allegations made in the News of the World on the weekend that a group of Pakistan players were involved in spot-fixing, revolving around three deliberate no-balls bowled against England during the Test at Lord’s last week.

Saeed went on to say that three replacement players will be called up for this month’s five-match ODI series against England to boost the squad to 16.
According to Saeed, the three players in question have not been suspended.
In a subsequent statement to the media, ECB chairman Giles http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120 said the England and Wales Cricket Board welcomed the announcement of the Pakistan squad for the remainder of the tour.
