With less than 12 hours to go for the high-octane ICC World Cup 2011 semi-final featuring archrivals http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755, it seems the rain Gods are planning to play spoilsport in Mohali, the venue for the high-voltage cricket clash.

The Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers for Tuesday night in Mohali and as per last reports it was still raining at 10.30 p.m. local time. However, the good news is that the Meteorologists say there are very little chances of rain on Wednesday
and the weather should clear up by morning.
An official of the Chandigarh-based Met Department said that the local forecast for Wednesday, 30 http://www.senore.com/Cricket/March-c74391 is partly cloudy sky with low chances of rain.
“It will be comparatively warm tomorrow. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 30 to 33 degrees Celsius whereas the minimum temperature will be around 17 to 18 degrees Celsius Wednesday,” said the Met official.
The maximum relative humidity in Mohali on Wednesday is likely to be around 68 per cent whereas the minimum relative humidity will be around 39 per cent.
Earlier in the day, the twin cities of Chandigarh and Mohali witnessed a bright sunny day.
According to the area forecast of the Meteorological department, there could be a thunderstorm with light rain or at least a dust storm at a few places in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 on Wednesday.
According to the Met department, currently Kashmir and its neighbourhood are experiencing western disturbance while an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation is prevailing in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rajasthan-c837 and its neighbourhood.
Even though the Met office has said it is unlikely to rain but the cricket fans must be eager to know what if Wednesday’s game is washed out? If that happens, then the team that finished in the higher position in the Group stage shall proceed
to the final.
