Pakistan win fifth ODI and series against New Zealand
Pakistan comprehensively defeated New Zealand in the fifth ODI by 41 runs at Seddon Park, Hamilton. Thanks to a superb century from Ahmed Shehzad and disciplined bowling by their bowlers.

Many eyes were on the seasoned, Scott Styris, once he came into bat but he was a failure and could score just nine runs.
New Zealand was in trouble at that time as they were five down on 150. All rounder James Franklin came to the crease and joined http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 and took the score to 192. Captain Taylor had to leave the field as Shahid Afridi got him lbw on 69.
Nathan McCullum, who remained unbeaten on 53 in the last ODI, joined Franklin. With the addition of only 2 runs on board, Franklin was bowled by Wahab Riaz on 16.
The late order batsmen did not survive attacking bowling from Pakistan. Nathan McCullum made only 14. Jacob Oram scored 10 and Hamesh Benett could only make 3 runs. The whole team was bowled out in 46.5 overs at a score of 227 runs.
Pakistan’s bowling was perfect and all the bowlers kept their line and length. Wahab Riaz was once again the most successful bowler, who took 3 wickets. Umar Gul and Afridi shared two wickets each while Shoaib Akhtar took one.
Earlier, Pakistan had scored 268 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Ahmed Shahzad scored a brilliant century, the first of his career. He scored 115 runs.
