Pakistan win first Test series after four years
The second Test match between New Zealand and Pakistan at the Basin Reserve Stadium in Wellington ended in a draw, and as a result, the visitors have won their first Test series in four years.

Misbah bagged the Man of the Match award by virtue of his brilliant performance in the match. The skipper scored half-centuries in both innings of the Test match, and helped his side anchor a draw.
In pursuit of a competitive 274-run total, the visiting team stumbled in the morning session of day five, losing 3 wickets for 42 runs. The pair of Misbah and Younis Khan responded to the situation in a resilient manner, mustering a defiant 118-run partnership
in order to steer their team towards the series win.
From the start of his innings, Younis played superbly and was the star of the show for his team. The right-handed batsman mixed attack with defence. He hit 10 boundaries in his brilliant 81-run knock.
After Younis’ dismissal, Misbah remained calm and kept his cool. He shared a 55-run partnership along with Asad Shafiq which ensured a draw for the visitors, thereby getting themselves to their first series win in four years.
