Pakistani Soccer Lovers back up Brazil in the 2010 World Cup
Pakistan’s former and current international football players and experts are warming up to the extravaganza to Brazil. The Pakistanis think that Brazil has good chances to regain the World Championship title when they initiate their mission in the Group G, the Death Group Opener against South Korea on 15th June at Johannesburg.
“The World Cup in South Africa would be a real test for the coaches as all the teams are good and the coach who exhibits great shrewdness will be able to gift his side the grand title. But I would grade Brazil as the hot favourites because of their style and approach to the game,” Pakistan’s experienced playmaker Muhammad Essa told a news channel on Tuesday.
26-year old Essa stated that he believes the five-time World champions Brazil would end at the top of the victory stand. The firepower and knack to attack of Brazilians after every minute does not give time to the opponent’s defenders to snuggle down.
Brazillian coach Dunga’s most recent record is remarkable and if his side does not get overconfident, which at times it happens then there are great chances for them to hold the FIFA cup.
While talking about AC Milan star Ronaldinho he said that the cream star should not have been left behind. Essa said that the coach axed him because he does not work hard but Ronaldinho is a magnificent manipulator and could have been effective in the prestigious event.
Meanwhile, former FIFA referee Ahmed Jan also backed up Brazil, and said that Spain is also a great team, but Brazil has got a different style. Good ball possession wins a team the World Cup and Brazil has the guts to keep it for about 60 minutes in the 90 minutes show-down.
He said that Brazil is a factory of footballers and their current World Cup squad has aspirant young blood in it.
“How would they not excel in the field when the Brazillian mothers send their two-year old children to the football academies for training,” the referee said.
Former international striker Ali Nawaz Baloch said that it was too early to say which team is going lift the title but Brazil looks to be sturdy as they would try to get back the title. He said that Italy will try to shield their title while Argentina and Spain too have a good chance but there Brazilians can definitely prevail to the showpiece.
“If Dunga could drop a player like Ronaldinho then he would certainly have a tight grip over his team and would be able to make them champions once again,” said Nawaz.
Nasir Ismail, Pakistan’s most qualified coach said that England may possibly be a more intimidating side because of the presence of most veteran players in their squad.
Nasir said that the current English squad is the most qualified batch and all the players want to go back victorious from South Africa. If the English side does not succeed then they would pack their bags to go home forever.
Meanwhile, experienced striker Muhammad Rasool also surmised that Brazil is the real favourite and seems to be the most dangerous team in the 2010 World Cup.
South Africa 2010 is going to be Brazil’s twentieth World Cup. Their first appearance was in the opening edition of the World Championship played from 13 to 30 July 1930 in Uruguay. So far Brazil has got five World Champ titles (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002). Twice it finished runner up, in World Cup 1950 and 1998. Brazilians finished with a Bronze in the World Cups of 1938 and 1978. In the World Cup of 1974 the five time World Champs missed the bronze and ended at fourth place.
Predictions are few and far but the Football lovers can expect Brazil in the final of South Africa World Cup.
