I am beginning to love AQ Khan too, the media is trying to misrepresent him but now I know true Pakistanis love the genius and I agree he should be a legend

what army of Pakistan did to their hero's is like that

1)They hanged the Bhutto who was the founder of atomic bomb

2) they out thrown Nawaz shareef and exiled him, he was the one who took dare to test that bomb

3) and the last.... ....... ..... A Q Khan who made that bomb put behind the bar from last 8 years and forced him to made a wrong confession

and now come to India

1) they made their hero as president of India. (DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (b - 1931) Term of Office: 25 July 2002 TO 25 July 2007.

2) they gave full respect to late Nehru and Indra Gandhi who were the founder of their nuclear program

now see the difference

Who's AQ Khan? I don't have any views on him since I don't know who he is.

Edit: Idk I am not really proud of him, I mean in the end he invented a machine to kill people in mass numbers. What is there to be proud of? Yes now Pakistan has similar weapons as some other nations, but whats the point of it? We are still fighting fire with fire.

Although Mohammad K. is a very close friend of mine. However, I have my reservation on the views.

I don't have the first hand knowledge about A.Q. Khan. I worked with people who worked under him OR for the KRL. All of them (about 4 different people in 4 different locations) had the same view about him e.g. He is a big manipulator and quite corrupt. He always had 2-3 Generals and about 4 column writers in his pocket (Paid ones).

As far as the other parts is concerned, ONE should know that he is NOT a Nuclear scientist. The ONLY Nuclear scientists that you hear are two (Dr. Ashfaq and Dr. Samar, out of which Dr. Ashfaq has good reputation of a gentleman, while Dr. Samar does not have such a reputation).

A.Q. Khan is a Metallurgist, which is in NO way near to Nuclear scientist. However, the crucial thing that he did was to bring the design of centrifuges and the information regarding the process of enrichment. Then there are over 6000 people who have been working for the nuclear and Missile program. While people hear ONLY 3-4 of them.

A.Q. Khan did provide Iran with the information of nuclear tech. However, the thing that really put Pakistan in trouble was:

A.Q. Khan supplied this information privately. And it is not difficult at all, in todays world. But along with the information he also provided them with the complete information of some of the vendors (I would not like to leak out this information, it is classified). These vendors supplied Iran the equipment. The Iranians were the greatest goofsters as usual. When they opened their facility for inspection, they did not remove the name and specification plates from the equipment. Which revealed the sources and the tracks of the information to A.Q.Khan.

So in the end, Pakistan was under tremendous pressure. They stripped him off the status, but ........ you cannot even imagine the types of pressures.

Well AQ Khan is one of our Biggest  personalities In Pakistan ! He has Helped Pakistan so much in the Nuclear field ~!

But unluckily Anyone who was sincere with Pakistan and Helped pakistan has gone down in the drain  ! AQ Khan also Paid a very Big Price for that !

Thanks To Musharraf (lanat Allah)for suspending him and putting  him under house arrest  which he is for the last 3 years !

If he didn't  make A-Bomb,   India would have usurped
