Pakistani bookie claims board officials involved in fixing
A Pakistani bookmaker has appeared on a television show and claimed that all the four Test matches between England and Pakistan last month had the involvement of spot-fixing and match-fixing. This has led the law enforcement bodies to go on a manhunt for
the bookmaker in order to arrest him and get more information out of him.
According to the bookmaker, who appeared on the Pakistani talk-show but with his face blurred out, there were at least two other cricketers in the Pakistani squad who have indulged in match-fixing in previous games. He added that most of the players of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755
were in the bookmakers’ pockets for huge returns of money.
It was reported in the Indian daily Times of India, that immediately after the interview, the law enforcement groups begun their job of locating the man. It has been said that the man was a bookmaker from Karachi.
The alleged bookmaker had claimed on the show, that many famous Pakistani cricketers from the past were also a part of this scandal and named a former opener and a couple of spinners as the main guys.
The man described the match-fixing process in detail on the show. He said that most of the match-fixing was done using landline numbers, and the rates for the same were set in England. He also claimed that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 was one of the biggest spots for bookmakers.
He added that fixing entailed a few bookmakers knowing in advance on how a player will perform in the game and earning a lot of money from that knowledge.
The man also called it player fixing in which “the players are brought for heavy sums.”
What was the biggest shock of them all was the revelation that there were many player agents who were making money by getting the cricketers in touch with these illegal bookies, while working for the cricket board officials. He added that these cricket board
members also had their commission.
