Rashid Latif, the former wicketkeeper and captain of Pakistan, has heaped praise on the selection committee for picking a balanced Test squad for the forthcoming Test series against England. He said that all the players picked have been performing well in

The right-handed batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Azhar-Ali-c46890, who bats at the number three position in the team, has been remarkably consistent with his performances, but Latif feels that Umar Akmal is better suited at that position, as he has the ability to score quick runs, and
he also counters the pace and bounce better than the current incumbent.
"I feel that Umar Akmal is ideally suited for the number three position in Test cricket and that is where I feel he will ultimately bat for Pakistan. On bouncier and quicker tracks I think that Umar Akmal is a better choice than Azhar Ali for the one down
position”, the former Pakistan captain added.
