Pakistan’s future of fast bowling is in safe hands, feels former bowling coach Aaqib Javed – Cricket News Update
Ex-bowling coach of the Pakistan cricket team, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Talha-c77400 and Umaid Asif. The former Test cricketer believes that both of them have the ability to serve the national team in the coming
years.
Aaqib resigned from the post last month but he wishes a good future for Pakistan cricket and is optimistic about new fast bowling talent in the country.
The right-arm fast bowler from Faisalabad, Mohammad Talha, has already played one Test match for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 at the Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However the rookie failed to make an impression at the highest stage of the game on a flat
batting track.
The young fast bowler has been doing exceedingly well in domestic cricket since the last couple of seasons and has taken a lot of wickets. He was recalled in the Pakistan team for the Test series’ against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 and England but he could not break into
the playing XI.
While speaking to pakpassion, Aaqib expressed that he has always liked Talha's approach as the young cricketer possesses all the pre-requisites of a genuine fast bowler. In case Pakistan cricket shows faith in Talha, Aaqib is of the opinion that the fast
bowler can do wonders for the country.
Aaqib said, "Talha has always impressed me, I rate him very highly, he is tall and fast and can swing the ball. He has everything a fast bowler needs, but just needs some time and some encouragement from the team management to establish himself."
The former fast bowler also named a relatively unknown cricketer, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Umaid-Asif-c2719 and feels that the lanky fast bowler can develop into a world-class operator. However, Aaqib feels that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) needs to look after the young pacer and should
keep a strong check on his performance at the first-class level.
"He's a tall fast bowler, he is very good. Umaid has a very nice high arm action and can swing the ball. Before the series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in the UAE, I called Umaid and put him into the Academy so that he can develop his bowling further,” the former cricketer
added.
