seriously what is the difference?

they are both huge and have lots of rooms.

yes mostly royalty lives in palaces and rich people in mansions

but t me they are the same

mansion

     n 1: one of 12 equal areas into which the zodiac is divided [syn: sign of the zodiac, sign, house, planetary house]

     2: a large and imposing house [syn: mansion house, manse, hall, residence]

*and i think they have their difference and similarities.. ^_^
