Palate expander??? talking?

Question

i got a palate expander today and i sound really weird when i talk. I hate it! how long do you think it will be till i can talk normally?? it hurts my tounge when i talk. I tried having juice and even that sucks!?!? what should i do?

it's like when you first get braces - it will go away eventually - just need to stick with it - hope this helps
