Question:

Pale skin, skirts, and swimsuits.. oh my?

I have the legs to wear a skirt. I grew up to have some long ones, and they're toned from cycling. Only problem is they're pale! And here in Florida (I live pretty close to the beach) everyone my age is tan, especially now that it's summer.

The weather is so hot, and I love skirts.. but I can't tan. I burn in the sun, and tanners (spray & lotion) look horrible on me no matter what brand or technique I try.

So how unattractive is it to see a girl with pale legs wearing a skirt or in a swimsuit? Are there any colors that might flatter me more than others (I'm brunette with grey/blue eyes)? I hate being that one person on the beach or at the pool that's so white they pretty much reflect the sun.

(Wow, I seem superficial now I'm sure. lol)

  1. you may be pale now, but at least you wont have sunspots when you're older!

some bronzer or gradual tanning lotion [like jergens] would give you a little color.

  2. i think pale is classy! it really is

i mean when hav u ever seen a model in a swimsuite with a orange tan? NEVER! lol

if i were you i would try some bronzing cream and that may add a bit of color, but darlin, pale is gonna be in fashion soon! (trust me i no!)

  3. Too pale is ugly, I prefer Olive skin the best or Ivory.  I know I got super-pale skin and I wanted it to get more darker like olive or ivory, because when the skin is too pale, it appears to look like pig skin.
