  1. Japanese skin color  is basically very light yellow itself unless outdoor labors.

Japanese women prefer lighter color very much because they know ultraviolet makes their skin damage later very badly such as blemish, freckles, spots, wrinkles and cracks.

All Japanese cosmetics of whitening have ingridients of vitamine, unti-ultraviotet, natural medicine for damping and controling skin.

    You can try Selrajyuex-os,  Equintance,

Domohorn wrinkle, Whiteshot, ES skin cream, etc. etc.

Whitess of Shiseido is one of those skin care products.

By the ingredients Arbutin アルブチン, it effects to reduce making melanin メラニン in skin.

  2. Japanese women are very careful about sun blocks, a lot of them use makeup and creams that contains sun block, not just to prevent tanning but to prevent premature aging of the skin from exposure to too much sun.

  3. It depends.  Have you ever noticed there are different shades of black people? There are different shades of every person, including the Japanese.

I've seen very dark, very light Japanese.  Yes, Japanese women do care about their appearance.  Many look like teenagers still, like Aki Hoshino who is pushing 30 and looks 16!

I've seen 40/50 year old women who still look in their twenties. Sun block, yes.  Especially they care about their face.  Everything in Japan is expensive, not because of inflation, but because their products are really good.

If you're wanting to buy something nice for your skin 1- bring a lot of money, 2- Ask a Japanese what she uses.

  4. They just dont go out in the sun as much. When the Sun is strong they have umbrellas to keep them in the shade, and some high skoolers where long sleeves in mid-summer just to keep there arms from tanning. And Asians get easily tanned than white people.

  5. There are several brands of whiteners sold, however--how effective they really are is another matter.

The truth is, some Japanese people just have naturally whiter skin than others. Most women carry parasols, wear hats, gloves, sunscreen, etc to prevent tanning. . .but as far as bleaching your skin to a tone that is paler than what you were born with. . .I am not sure how well that really works.

I have seen a few people who did look paler than they should have and the effect was not pretty. They just looked ill.

So my advice is avoid the sun and be happy with what you have.

  6. That was what i was thinking of when i was in Japan last month when the sun was scorching! My answer would be the many types of skin care whitening that they use. It's a big business in Japan.

  7. no matter what kind of snake oil u sprinkle, humans dont get any whiter unless you are the king of pop.

  8. You can not buy Japanese pale skin.  It comes from genetics, and NO SUN TANNING!
