The Rosanero have been hit by a string of injuries which has led to extra burden on their depleted squad, and the Aquile realise it will be tough to beat Juve.
The Renzo Barbera outfit will be facing off the title-chasing Juventus in the matchday 31 fixture of the Serie A. Currently, Juventus are flying high in the League and
are in the second place of the Lega standings. Juve are only two points adrift of AC Milan, who currently lead the Serie A standings with 64 points.
Even though Juventus faced a blip in their campaign, where they began drawing matches on a consistent basis, the Bianconeri have turned a corner after their emphatic victory
against Fiorentina. They have scored ten goals in their last three matches, including the 5-0 drubbing of the Viola, and have not conceded a single goal during that time.
The match will be played at the Stadio Renzo Barbera, where Palermo boast the fourth best home record of the League, however a rejuvenated Old Lady might be too much to
handle for the Palermo outfit.
The Rosanero vice president voiced his opinion ahead of the weekend clash between the two sides. He suggested that they would give their all in the match, and it will be
difficult for them. He identified the players the Aquile will be missing in their match against Juventus as well, and commented:
“We’ll try to beat them, but it will be very tough. We will be without the suspended http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abel-Hernández-c3432,
Massimo Donati and Andrea Mantovani. Meanwhile, Federico
Balzaretti, Eros Pisano and Matias Silvestre are out injured.”
He reiterated that it will be hard for his men to extract a result out of the Lady Killers who have been rampant in their last few matches. He mentioned that he was hopeful
for a positive result by adding:
“It will be hard without half the team to get a positive result, but we’ll try to get some points even against a very strong
Juventus side.”
However, the Renzo Barbera outfit have had the better results in their previous head to head, three of the last four matches at home have resulted in victories for the Aquile
over Juve.
