Palermo confirm contact from PSG for Javier Pastore – Serie A Transfer Update
US Palermo have confirmed the rumour connecting their prized asset http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 to the French outfit Paris Saint-Germain. The attacking midfielder has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe but the huge 50 million Euros
price tag has been an issue for every outfit.
The 22-year-old Argentinean has been regarded as the superstar of the future and many big names such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 and Juventus have inquired for the player. However no concrete deal materialised
due to the steep asking price by the Rosanero.
The Aquile Sporting Director, Sean Sogliano, while talking to Sportitalia confirmed the contact made from the French Ligue 1 outfit. The official said:
“The French club’s interest in Pastore is real. The possibility that the player could transfer to Paris is one that does exist. Leonardo is very interested in such an option.”
Moreover, the Palermo President, Maurizio Zamparini, has also revealed that they will have to let go of the target in order to get their financial statements balanced at Stadio Renzo Barbera. However, Zamparini is still rigid on
the decision to sell the attacking midfielder for nothing less than 50 million Euros.
“I think the player will wave goodbye to us this week. We have a €20m hole in our books and our balance sheet comes first,” said Zamparini.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. The former Brazilian midfielder has seen the quality players in the Italian top flight and
would play a vital role in luring the best of Serie A.
Moreover, there are reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Storari-c23751. The PSG shot-stopper and former French international, Gregory Coupet,
retired from club football after the 2010/11 season and now the Frenchmen are in search of a replacement.
However, the chances are thin that Storari would come to PSG as he is looking for first team action and the French outfit are keen on having him as the reserve man behind the recently signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Douchez-c27810.
