Yesterday the Prime minister announced he favored opening unity discussions under Senagalese auspices. However, such discussions may result in U>S.-zionist termination of talks with Abbas. Is Abbas worth anything? If so,why risk losing him as a go-between with Palestine's enemy? if not worth anything why bother to open talks with him?

  1. I'm only a supporter but I think any movement toward unity is a favorable development, particularly if it serves to enhance the unity of the heavily balkanized paramilitary groupings, all of which must cooperate in order to obtain a successful outcome in the forthcoming revolution.

  2. Abbas is disposable. The main point is to develop unity which means resolving the Fatah/Hamas split. If Abbas can be used to this,it is wise to open talks. It this destroys his standing with his American and zionist masters,so much the better.

  3. Yes,all potentials should be explored. Haniyeh is acquiring real statesmanship after a year in office.

  4. Yes I do. Mahmood Abbas (God Bless him) is the best Palestinian leader so far and my enemy. He is the only one able to end the Palestinian tragedy and get the Palestinians a state they can flourish in.

  5. Yes,if Haniyah thinks it's for the best. It may be too that he seeks direct talks in order to sabotage Abbas' relationship with U.S./zionist foreign policy makers.

  6. Who cares about the US and the Zionists terminating anything. They have almost terminated Palestine altogether, anyhow, with or without Arafat, terrorism or no terrorism, peace agreements or no peace agreements, UN resolutions or no UN resolutions.

We need to look after our own best interests and the only way to do it is through unity.

  7. I am not Palestinian, but I love them and support them. They are all one family and they should mutually end all their differences without letting their real enemies take advantage. As far as I am concerned, I have started to think of Palestine as Gaza Strip and the Hamas freedom fighters as the government and representative of the Palestinian people. I really don't know much about Fatah or Yasser Arafat or West Bank to comment on.

    Long live Palestine.

  8. Yes I do. Unity is the rock that will breaks all the polices of our enemies. People united will never be defeated.

  9. Hello, first i do support the unity talks,Hamas and Fatah are at the end palestinians ,and both should work for the best interest of palestinians,at the mean while ,both Haniyah and Abbas are giving the people the deef ear ,they are both stubborn to admit that both are mistaken, the people of gaza lives in very unhumain conditions, and what are they waiting for?

Abbas worth everything because simply he is elected and accepted from all the outsider world,he is the key out of this problem, because israel proves him,if hamas only admits that it can`t function well without the help of Fatah(and the proval of israel),and if Fatah gives the chance to Hamas to prove itself,so many ifs,and all for uncertain case, which makes us go back to zero,or in other word, the final result,Palestinians are powerless with every meaning to the world, israel controls every little single thing, and nothing will preceed in the favor of the Palestinians, untill it suits the mood of israeli gouverment.
