Palgue, and Palgwe forms?

I hasked this before and perhaps wasn't clear on the question.

Is there an diffrence in the steps or moves in for example Palgue Il hung (Palgue 1) and Palgwe Il hung (palgwe 1)

or are these the same, just spelled diffrent

  1. Same form. The Palgwe forms are the traditional forms. They are almost the same forms as the Shotakan Karate forms. When Kukkiwan came into power and split from ITF they wanted there own forms and invented the Taegeuk forms which are much different from the older Palgwe forms.


  2. They are the same.  Just a spelling difference.  These were the precursor to the TaeGeuk forms that are studied in the WTF.
