I was willing to listen to her side...but the speech was ridiculous. All she talked about was her "hockey mom" status, oil drilling/the bridge to nowhere, and how bad she thinks Obama is ( in a sarcastic and immature tone).

She is not a breath of fresh air, she's a ditz who is just winning people over with charisma. Bush did that and look where we are today! We need a little more than a charming personality/face to run this country.

Look at the cold hard facts and let me know if you still think she is ready to be VP...

  1. "She is not a breath of fresh air, she's a ditz who is just winning people over with charisma."

I could have sworn you were talking about Obama.

  2. She didn't lie.. She just didn't really even bring up any important topics. I don't blame her cause her party has done so poorly.

  3. she is way more qualified than obama and i listened to his speech it had zero substance just alot of political talk i will give him one thing he is a great public speaker kind of reminds me of aother guy that had alot of the same ideas and beliefs and was also a great speaker you may of heard of him  HITLER!!!!

  4. I couldnt agree more. Any educated person will see Palin is a liability and narrow minded with no idea of reality

  5. It seems like this year both the candidates are uninspiring...again.

I would never vote for Obama because of his personal affiliations with his racist pastor and past terrorist friend.  Really, who goes to church for 20 years with a pastor like that and doesn't find a new one if he disagrees with the sermons?  Come on now.  That's just plain insulting that he thinks we'd buy that excuse.  Let alone his comments on how his girls shouldn't be "punished" by having a baby or std.  What a horrible statement.  I don't think his judgment is keen enough, I question his values, and I don't think he has the experience and decision making ability to be a leader.

I didn't like McCain either until Palin.  He seems to flip flop on issues, and he's just not a good communicator.  That worries me.  What happens if he goes into an international conference and makes flippant, thoughtless, comments and accusations?  Good grief.

Anyway, Palin's speech was a reaction to the statements made by democrats and media.  The democrats questioned her experience as soon as McCain announced her as his running mate.  Her speech was well delivered, and it gave back what was given to her by democrats.  She's in a man's world, and she showed her viewers that she was tough.  This is a woman who had more votes as governor of Alaska than Biden for president.  She has an 80% approval rating in her state.  I think she'll be an asset to the McCain ticket.

  6. It's ironic and funny that you, as an obvious Obama supporter, would say she is "just winning people over with charisma." How very ironic to hear an Obama supporter say that.

She IS a breath of fresh air. She is the real deal, and you know it. It's why the left is tripping all over themselves trying to dig up dirt on her.

OK I read some of the article. They claim it's a "lie" when she said he could give an entire speech without using the word "victory" except to refer to his own campaign. They claim the "truth" is that he used the word "victory" twice in a speech once. I don't believe Sarah Palin said he had NEVER given a speech without using the word "victory." She said he HAD given speeches without using the word "victory" except to refer to his own campaign. The article's logic is faulty and in no way proves that she lied. You dems are so desperate.

  7. I kinda want mccain to win only so when they s***w up the white house more than anybody thought possible than the democrats can have an "i told you so moment"... honestly tho, i read that too... She fabricated a lot of her speech mainly to scare people about obama and make herself seem qualified... which she is not! the only people who dont see it is republicans... No wonder educated people vote democrat... and less educated people vote republican...very sad

  8. I thinks it's Obama that is the "ditz" "just winning people over with charisma".   Look at the cold hard facts and let me know if you still think Obama is ready to be a Senator, much less President of the greatest country in the world!

  9. Maybe you should look at the cold hard facts.

As the chief executive of her state, she is better prepared, and has more experience to bring to the presidency than the man who heads the democratic ticket, who had only a year in the U.S. Senate before he started running for president.

You Democrat Mesahia Obama Keeps chanting about change and that Washington is broken.  He then picks a running mate who has been in Washington for 35 years.  Sounds a little hypocritical to me.

It's funny how when the left is arguing they always bring up Bush.  Guess what BUSH IS NOT RUNNING.

  10. Sad but Republicans could win if they just stop telling LIES.

  11. You was willing to listen, but was deaf enough not to hear, the speech was informative and in proper full English sentences, with out Ebonic grunting like Obama.  And tone was correct for Obama he is a joke. Bama is trying to win with charisma, even Palin has more of it.  It make you laugh that Palin has more experience,  It makes me cry that Obama was permitted to run in this campaign with his amount of experience.  People that have their experience in smaller companies, usually are more  qualified rather then ones from big corps where everything was done by their assistants or outsourced.

  12. She is terrible. I fear for what this country has become. I can't believe what a liar and a phony she is. I hope America wakes up before it's too late.

  13. You hit the nail right on the head...she  was picked under the "have a beer with her" criteria that gave Dumbya the White House. The GOP leasdership will hope that the moderate voter does recognize this, and vote for mcCain anyway

  14. Her speech reflected well on her record as a public servant.  She really did stand up to political corruption, reduced taxes, even reduced her own salary.  I think she really does represent The People, as she indicated in her speech.

Her poking fun at Obama was kinda funny.  What I think is really funny is that she has even more experience at managing affairs of State than the Democrats' pick for President does - but they claim she lacks experience!

  15. I think you must be referring to Obama, who is the ditz who is just winning people over with charisma, as he has no experience governing anything. He has never run anything, not even a small business.

You need to look at the cold hard facts !

  16. This is sad... you guys are fooled.

Yeah, so he said "victory". I didn't hear him saying that, where is the record?  If he cares about the troop's victory, why did he oppose the surge while clearly it works? Why did he want to withdraw the troops right away while things were so bad in Irag... Once again, action is louder than words....

  17. ROFL...Cold hard facts?????  I read the link.  Are you telling me that you can't see the spin from where you're sitting?  Get up and move to the right a little.  That baby's spinning like a tasmanian devil.

  18. You were willing to listen, but you were never willing to listen to her "side." You were always going to vote for Obama and that's the lense you used when you watched the speech. And that's fine - you're entitled to your feelings, of course, but it's aggravating that you're pretending that you were Miss Objectivity watching her speak. No, you weren't. She's not a "ditz," as she's done nothing ditzy whatsoever. Does that stem from your belief that attractive women can't be intelligent or something? Her attacks on Obama were pointed but humorous. It's difficult to attack someone and still seem like you're not mean-spirited, and she accomplished that. And if you think we need more than a charming personality to run this country, then why are you throwing your support to Obama? That's all he is. Palin is just the VP - you're picking the charisma for your presidential choice. I'm sure you don't see the irony.
