Most states allow it by 16 and to say that a Republican family is more likely to have kids underage, or any other kind of ridiculous thing, is both trifle and stupid at best. She is going to marry the father, which is not liberal family values, (unless they were g*y).

The father is going to take responsibility for his actions, and support their new family.

I would imagine this pregnancy is not a reflection of what the Palin's taught their daughter.  However, given the situation which has already occurred, they seem to be demonstrating "family values" very well.

Their daughter and her boyfriend are taking responsibility for their actions and trying to establish a stable home for their child.

The Palin's are giving their unconditional love and support to their daughter and her fiancee.

Gov Palin is showing far better judgment than you would in this situation by not asking for her daughters boyfriend to be prosecuted.  What good would that do anyone?  It would make it harder for their daughter and fiancee to establish a stable home for their kid.  Also it would probably create a huge rift between the Palin's and their daughter at a time when the daughter could use all the emotional support she can get.

Its not our business that the daughter is pregnant but it is our business that the mother (the VP pick) lied about it and tried to cover it up. It shows that she is poor at being a mother. And considering that she doesn't have much experience as a politician either, that's just a sad situation.

But show me a politician that is clean today? And how does this effect how they run the country? Exactly, it doesn't.

So yes. Politicians are only a reflection of society at large and no democrat can can argue they are a better person morally than a republican. I don't think republicans are better morally either. They are just better at hiding their mistakes. Again, this is just a reflection of society today and the problems we face together.
