Why do people think that her out of wed lock pregnant teen daughter is a non-issue for Sarah Palin?

Because they prefer not to have to deal with it.

Likewise, Bush's destruction of the country is a non-issue.

It probably is an issue for the Palin family.

It is not an issue for the United States.

I'm sure it's an issue for Sarah Palin, but I think it's something that a family can handle easily. It shouldn't be an issue in this campaign, her daughter is just one in millions of unwed teen pregnancies and I'm sure most won't be handled as responsibly as this one is. Many will end in abortion, single teen mothers, run-a-ways and abandoned children. No one is perfect, we have all made mistakes. The only thing we can do is be responsible and handle them as best as we can.

Because it is a personal family matter. Just like I don't agree that Obama's church is a political matter. That is a personal matter between him, his family, and the church he attended.

It is a huge issue. Palin is running on the high moral ground ticket and her kid being 17 pregnant and being forced to marry the father to soften the blow to her Mommy's career is absolutely relevant.

Palin promoted abstinence only s*x ed for other people's kids yet her kid being impregnated out of wed-lock is a non-issue according to the high moral grounders. No way! It is about time we as Americans say ENOUGH to blatant hypocrisy!

I have no doubt that if it were Chelsea Clinton who got pregnant while Mrs. Clinto was running for office then the Republicans will make it a HUGE issue. So yes Bristol Palin pregnancy is a HUGE issue in this campaign

It has nothing to do with Sarah Palin's fitness for office.  At this point it appears that this is the only thing they have to try to bash her about and it is backfiring big time.  People are rallying around her, particularly the undecided who see that the left is truly malicious and mean spirited.

It's an issue. The question everyone is not asking is- For how long has McCain known Palin? Is there a hiden agenda. McCain cannot just pick a stanger from the blues and into that position? what do you think?

Because the unwritten rule is that children are off limits. Its been that way forever until McCain announced Palin as his VP. Then all you young democrats just jumped right on the lie creation machine and started attacking her children.

When I saw those attacks, (including the one you've written here) I felt ashamed of my party and knew for a fact that you kids do not represent the values and ideas that my democrat party is based on.
