  1. Still managed to be Governor?

She went straight back to work, leaving the care of her son to others. That doesn't impress me at all.

  2. No. It tells me that being Governor of Alaska is a part time job.

  3. Not really. Being governor is an 18/7 job and both she and her husband are loaded. Obviously they've hired someone else to raise their children for them.

  4. I dont know her well enough to form an opinion but I DO like what I have heard thus far.

  5. People are only impressed by it because she's in the spotlight.  There are plenty of "regular" people dealing with more than some can imagine, and alas they get no recognition.  She's a person living with what life has handed her like the rest of us.  I'm not impressed.

  6. mental retardation is hereditary

  7. yes, that is very impressive!  and she has strong christian values .

**also, she is much better looking than Hillary!

  8. Not at all. However, the fact that she accepted the VP title under those circumstances makes me question her priorites.

  9. She only has an undergraduate degree in journalism.  She has no international experience.  She's married to an oil executive at BP Petroleum...Are you kidding?

  10. Nothing says amazing like intercourse, huh?  Is that all it takes to impress you these days?  No wonder the country has elected such bad leaders for the last eight years.

  11. Yes, she didn't abort it like a choicer would. She's a great woman!

  12. It impresses me. Good for her.

  13. No. Many Female politicians have given birth. Some with disabled children. Not a big deal. She's a baby machine. Bad for the environment.

  14. Yeah; and she didn't even think of that horrible practice we call "abortion" *cough* infant murder *cough*. She might not be very experienced, but she has the morals this country needs desperately.

  15. No.

If you're going to pop out babies at that rate - you should be home to take care of them.  Maybe her husband can take on a lot of the duties - but a special needs baby and campaigning for the 2008 election - do not go hand in hand in my opinion.

If you want to be a Mom - GREAT! - be a good Mom.  If you want to be a politician - GREAT! - be a good politician.

It's not impressive that she's doing both - because she isn't.  Something is going to suffer.  (bet it won't be the campaing!!!)

  16. yeah thats pretty tough to do. not a good vp though

  17. No, that doesn't really impress me. Thousands of women around the country give birth and then go back to work, even women with special-needs children. In fact it's probably easier for her to get child care because of her job.

  18. No, why would it? She's rich, her husband is a big time exec with BP Oil. They probably just have nannies take care of their kids anyway

  19. She is truly amazing. It takes great courage to do what she did. Something wimplibs do not understand. Like John McCain, she has character and will be an excellent Vice President. The sexist wimplibs hate the fact that they threw Hillary "under the bus".

  20. No it doesn't impress me. I have a younger sister with down syndrome and let me tell you....they need a lot of extra care. Especially from their mother. She left her babies in the care of someone else.

Great for her for being a powerful women...the world needs more of her that is for sure. But unfortunately being a mother to 5 children and being governor just seems to be depriving the children of real bonding time in the first few months of their life.

  21. So the number of kids a person can pop out by the time she is 40 qualifies them to lead the greatest nation on earth...

    Republicans are so funny.

  22. yes and she isn't fat from all those kids either...proves she isnt lazy!

  23. Those Alaskans are a pretty hardy lot! So don't under estimate her! Margaret Thatcher turned out to be the Iron Woman!!! It's time for men to quit thinking women are the weaker s*x!!! I'd like to see one of them have a baby!!! LOL! The birth rate in the country would hit zero after the first one!!
