  1. Guess you never heard of Dan Quayle.

Cutting ribbons at mall openings, meeting second rate Girl Scouts and Fifth World diplomats--h**l, Mike Tyson could do the job.

    It ain't rocket science

  2. You must not know much about her to even ask this question. This is a person that has experience making real changes, not just talking about them.

  3. She has executive experience, something none of the other three have.

  4. Obama ready for president? NO executive experience. Absolutely no notable legislative achievements with his name on them. 90% of legislation he proposed as both state senator and congressman have FAILED. Absolutely no past performance even remotely suggests that he has the capacity or intent to do anything he has promised to accomplish as president.

Oh by the way... Palin is only running for VP. She will be guided and have the opportunity to learn from a man with 30+ more years than Obama in politics. Palin also has been governer longer than Obama has been a Senator - and almost 2 years of Obama's term has been spent on the campaign trail and NOT in his seat in the Senate doing what he promised Illinois he would do.

  5. Governing Alaska is at least as challenging as governing Arkansas. So are you saying the Clinton wasn't ready to be President?

Your argument is that our forefathers "threw the country under the bus", because they were not "for" the government taking people's money and spending it on everything the congress thinks is worthy. You have it completely backwards.

Why isn't Obama throwing the country under the bus, with his 143 days in Congress before deciding he was ready?

  6. Executive decisions carry the same weight regardless of how many people abide by them.

  7. She's as ready as anyone else. Alaska is a tough state and if you're going to s***w up, the size of the population doesn't matter. She's only running for the 2nd spot anyway; not the no.1 like Obama.

  8. She's more ready for VP than Obama is for P!

  9. Please keep this in mind. She is running for VP, Obama is running for the Presidency. Please do not confuse the two.

  10. I am amused that the republicans have been referring to Obama supporters as "sheep". Then, after 2 days of hearing about Palin, they  think that she is qualified to be VP or even President. Who are the sheep now? They did not even wait a week to find out if she has any skeletons in her closet before they all jumped on the band wagon. We already know that she is being investigated by her own state for abuse of power. If Obama or Biden were being investigated for anything, the republicans would crucify then. But when it applies to Palin, they are falling all over themselves to support her. What a bunch of hypocritical sheep!

  11. Yes its time for new blood, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be a politician,

pretty women are natural politicians, because they have to brush off all the guys that hit on her without offending them

how much experience did Thomas Jefferson have to become president

  12. ... .now she's gunna be Veep?!? ...

    I like your optimism.

She is more ready to be president than the other three.

  13. Well, lets see where to begin.

Geography; Alaska is one of two states (Hawaii the other) that does not border another state.  It borders Canada to the east and north, and the Pacific Ocean everywhere else.  It is also the largest state by area. Crossing the Bering Straight for four miles puts you in Russian territory.    Any governor of Alaska routinely deals with those two nations on issues like security, oil, trade, transportation, fishing rights and others.  She already brings more foreign diplomatic experience to the table than does the top of the Democrat ticket (and remember, she's running for the second spot, not the top one).

She's been a reformer in her own state, and the old boy system there is none too happy.

She has a son in the military; she knows what the threat of war does to the families of those who serve, and she can't be accused of sending other peoples children off to war without sharing the sacrifice.

Senator McCain, in his choice of her, will now shift the focus of energy to the Vice Presidents, which is not Senator Biden's strength. As Governor of an energy producing state, she is quite knowledgeable about energy production (and surprise folks she's all in favor of greener technologies...AND domestic drilling).

She brings a lot more to the table than first appears.

    .

  14. If she doesn't know what VP does then i can say the answer is quite obvious .

  15. She has more experience than Obama and she is only going for VP.  How come when Obama and his lack of experience talk about it it is "change" but then you call it inexperience for the other side.  Can't have it both ways.

  16. So you have to be from a large city to be VP?

    I think you are trolling!

There are towns with larger populations than the state of Delaware too!

  17. More ready than Barry is to be president.

  18. she's ready to have another kid.

  19. Sarah Palin absolutley is ready fro VP.  They have my vote!

    McCain / Palin '08

  20. The Presidential Pageant is not about being ready it is about getting votes.

The prettiest face is going to win ...

    Sorry to be so cynical.

  21. since when does obama have so much experience? and shes only running VP hes trying for president...

    McCain/Palin 2008!

  22. Even though I'm leaning toward democrat, I don't see your point. There are a lot of inexperienced people who have led the country and we aren't in the toilet -- yet.

  23. A lot more ready than Obama is ready for P

  24. Yes.  Vice president.  Let's not forget that the vice president has time to learn; precious time the President does not have.

Obama's executive experience is president of the Harvard Law Review.  This year, the Harvard Law Review has 91 members.  I can't imagine it had more back when he was running it.

  25. I agree with you. McCain supporters would stand behind his choice even if he had picked big bird. Which it kind of feel like to me.

  26. well a couple of weeks ago she didnt know what a VP does.

    ..........

Yh I think shes ready alright.

  27. In reality, if Mccain is elected, within 2 years Palin will have more experience in foriegn policy as Obama

    On the cycical side.

McCain can have Palin give a speech on Iraq, do a mideast-Euro tour for two weeks and she will again have the same amount of experience as Obama

  28. yep,she cleaned up her own government.she got rid of over 30 republican politicians.one republican senator.ran against corruption against the sitting governor and won.commands the national guard in her state.deals with russia on a daily basis.what has obama or biden done like this?

  29. No wonder the rest of the world is laughing at the US, the hateful, hurtful things people say to and about their fellowman, and I thought we were suppose to be "UNITED" ? that's a load of BS.

    MCCAIN / PALIN '08

  30. I agree with you about her not having much experience, but I think we are paying way too much attention to a mediocre politician.
