Palin is unkown but...?

wasnt barack hussien obama unknown up until the beginning of the campaign.....I never heard of him. He was unknown to me, and I wish it would have stayed that way. Sarah Palin from what I have learned and researched after the announcement of her candidacy I have liked. Way better than Obama/Bidden......Mccain/Palin!!!!!!!! 08

Palin is an fine choice, she wasn't my favorite choice for him but she's definately got alot to offer.

Exactly!  We're from Chicago and my fiance was asking "who in the world is this Obama guy - I've never heard of him and I'm from Chicago".  Then we got to know way more about him that we ever cared to know.  

I like the initial stats and releases on Sarah.  She sound like quite an interesting person, and she presented herself well today in her speech.  She definitely underscores McCain's message that he is also about reform, and that he represents a different type of Republican.  Sarah Palin has a history of being a different type of Republican and she has fought corruption in the GOP in her state.  I think she's an excellent pick.

Yeah, very strange how the Democrats suddenly have an aversion to 'unknowns' and they want their unknown to be leader of the free world, despite what we now *know* about his commie, anti-American mentors and domestic terrorist friends.

Yes!  Palin is a Great choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (and future President)! It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick & genius who picks likewise!

Palin:

* has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

* is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence & Alaskan drilling

* has actually been leading people for the past several years, while Obama & Biden have been leading NO one!

* shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

* will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

* is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

* ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

* is the mother of 5 kids!

* has had her son deploy to Iraq

* is for a strong US defense

* is an ice fisherman

* is a moose hunter

* is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

You can't help it if you're an uninformed Republican. Obama's been around a long time. He spoke at the 2004 DNC, which was the beginning of where he is today and how he'll be sitting in the Oval office next January.

You probably never heard of him b/c you are too young to vote even now in 2008... Obama was a headline speaker at the DNC in 2004, and was a HUGE success. He's been fast tracking in politics since (was before as well). He's has 8 years of political office in his pocket. Do your research.
