Palin joined a political party that favored Alaska's secession from the USA. Shouldn't this be the big story?

'At other times, party members have also proposed that the state explore the possibility of joining Canada. Other members have expressed opposition to joining Canada in its present form but are open to the possibility of joining an independent Western Canadian state in the event one should be established.

Lynnette Clark, the chair of the AIP, said that current Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, the presumptive 2008 Republican Party nominee for Vice President of the United States, had been a member of the party in the 1990s, and had attended the state party's 1994 convention. Palin recorded a message welcoming party members to its 2008 convention'

  1. Patience, it will be after the current firestorm settles...

  2. I think so.  If more people write in to the news outlets, they may actually start reporting on it.  Check out the link below, this should also be a bigger story.

Why aren't CNN and MSNBC reporting on this?

  3. She is unfit to lead her family, much less be second in command of the US...

  4. That state has oil we will never let them go muahhaaa.

  5. Not everyone believes everything their party stands for.  Whether or not she was a part of this party doesn't mean she stood for the secession of Alaska.  That kind of talk is the same as what was said during the Cold War of Communist Party members, and it's about as true now as it was then.  Palin has a lot of easy things to hit, no need to try digging.

Wow, people really hate my answer.  Just so we're clear, I don't even like Palin, but trying to get this kind of dirt on her is just beneath us people.

  6. Not only that... but a major part of this Party's agenda was to infiltrate major parties in order to get the Alaska Independant Party's agenda further executed.

  7. You are absolutely correct and here's more proof:

  8. There is so much to choose from already, we can hardly handle more.

[The Alaskan Independence Party is a political party in the U.S. state of Alaska. Its best-known policy is its call for a United Nations vote, which they claim should have been offered as an option in the plebiscite on statehood under international law. Ideologically a constitutional foundation, the party also calls for increased Alaskan control of Alaskan land, gun rights, privatization, home schooling, and reduction of governmental intrusion in the private lives of its citizens with adherence to the founding documents of the United States. The party has appeared on the ballot in Alaska in all state elections since 1970.

At other times, party members have also proposed that the state explore the possibility of joining Canada. Other members have expressed opposition to joining Canada in its present form but are open to the possibility of joining an independent Western Canadian state in the event one should be established. Neither of these scenarios form part of the party's current platform.

At the national level, the party is affiliated with the conservative Constitution Party]

But MAN this is great stuff.

  9. I support that given how Dems  are giving America away to illegals, welfare recipients, and high school drop outs and drug lords from Mexico.

America is becoming something not worth defending thanks to Dems like Pelosi.

Someone needs to do something like admit that Dems should stand trial for treason.

  10. McCain's representatives are trying to prove the story false andthat Palin has been a Republican since 1982.

But there are video recordings, 1 is already out, and more will follow after the current storm slows down a little.  This woman is in for a very rough storm and it will cost McCain the election.  That upsets me.  McCain could have won, but the dumb @#$% took yet another dumb gamble just to improve his ratings with conservative christians.

  11. Yes.  Yet another anti-America con.
