I think the Taliban have a similar view, only they stone the woman to death after the birth.

  1. Here's what I will never understand about most people who are against abortion.....Very few are for abortion without exception.  But if they think abortion is murder, then isn't it still murder if the pregnancy is from rape, incest, even to save the life of the mother?

  2. You are looking at this through slanted eyes. Let's assume that you and your wife have on child and your wife is raped. Would it make sense for you to kill your own child because your wife was raped ? Your child did not do anything and neither did that baby your wife would be carrying as a result of rape. The one that needs to be killed is the rapist, your wife and the little baby are both innocent victims. My point here is that it would be ridiculous to kill your own child as he was not party to anything and had nothing to do with the crime. The baby that *MIGHT* result of the rape was not a party to the crime either. Another thing, what if you and your wife had s*x a day or so before the rape, who is to say that the child belongs to the rapist and not to you ?

I am totally against abortion, no ifs ands or butts. If a woman's life is in danger  and she has small children decides to have an abortion, or even in the case of rape she decides to have an abortion, I am not in favor of it but I would find it difficult to blame a woman for having one.

Today, through DNA testing, we know two things. Who the father is and we know that the baby is a totally different person than the mother,  this eliminates the excuse of "It's my body" we can no tell without a shadow of doubt that it is not her body, this would also tell if the baby was from her husband or the rapist.

Sarah Palin's own personal belief on abortion is a non issue as it is still legal for women to obtain one. You are, of course, just trying to stir up the pot.

  3. no way. no one should have to look at their child and think about the dad who raped her. that's so stupid. of course they should be able to get and abortion. their are circumstances that abortion is necessary

  4. I don't think it unreasonable to not kill an unborn person because someone else raped somebody, why do you think it would be OK to give someone the chair as punishment fora murder someone else committed?..

Of course this is a non-issue as the President or Vice President can do nothing to change abortion law.  It is just something people like to bring up in an attempt to scare voters, especially when the get nervous..

  5. Tell you what, do something about the 98% of abortions performed that are not because of rape or incest.  THen we can discuss the 2% that are.

Until then, you're just chasin' your tail.

  6. I think that puppet-Palin is a putz!

  7. she is from alaska ..cant rape a girl in below zero weather

  8. Sounds FUBAR to me.

It is Amazing how far we have not come from our Calvinistic Puritan roots

  9. how do you know she isn't in favor of stoning as well?

  10. Obama thinks killing as they come out of the womb is cool. I guess one might be as bad as the other. Oh wait I forgot one is republican propaganda and the other is just as god wants it.

  11. Obama thinks any baby that is born after a failed abortion should be killed or left to die.

  12. Cite some sources that have HER saying that.  Hearsay isn't convincing to me.

  13. I agree with her.  There's no excuse for killing an innocent baby.  You can't punish the baby for what it's father did. Murder is a worse offense than rape.

  14. As usual the liberals quoting a reporter that is quoting only part of a view out of context to spin it into a out and out lie......it was followed by those which are less than 2% of all abortions could apply to the court to allow it...NOT abortion on demand by just stating the reason....Hey why let FACTS destroy your rant as you are now so desperate that your deity is free falling in the polls

  15. Yeah,,, well Obiden favors killing an innocent fetus while letting a convicted murderer live.

  16. Only if the woman committed adultery or fornication.  The Bible says the same. Just be real with it.  Give it to us straight.

  17. Nope, not at all.  She also believes in creationism.  Makes me wonder what they are teaching the students at the University of Idaho.

  18. They don't have to keep the baby. However, I believe like Obama does. We should make abortion retroactive.

  19. Palin, along with many others, believes that life begins at conception.  (I'm curious to know when you think life begins.)  To someone who holds that belief, abortion really is murder, no matter how horrible the circumstances were that resulted in that life.  It wasn't the baby's fault.  If a women gives the baby up for adoption, she is allowing that child to live, and giving a childless couple a beautiful gift. Comparing a pro-life viewpoint to the taliban is really ridiculous.

  20. If this is true and not a hatchet job, she will cost the Mccain campaign too many votes.

Here's the bigger problem: if McCain pulls an Eagleton, he has lost

  21. Yes, she is...and Obama and Biden think babies can be aborted anytime and for any reason, even after they've been born perfectly healthy.

YES, it's true-Obama voted against the "born alive" Bill in 2003 because "that was not the bill that was presented at the state level." Except that it was.

Even Mr. Obama's campaign admitted to the New York Sun that it did contain the exact provision from the federal bill, but Mr. Obama still voted against it. He later went on to call the bill a "backdoor attack on abortion rights."

I think n**i Germany and Communist Russia had a similar view

So, take your pick. What seems to be the lesser of 2 evils here?

  22. I think that should be the woman who is pregnant's choice. I personally couldn't imagine having a baby from someone who forcefully got me pregnant, but then again I couldnt imagine killing an innocent child either. Its tricky.

  23. It's just another anti-woman position taken by Palin. I can't believe the n**i-esque type belief that a woman is forced to carry her humiliation because of backward pro-life positions. Rape is a completely destructive act that can destroy a woman or, at least, severely damage her for many years. It shows how utterly lacking in compassion and a soul that a person would need to have in order to force someone to keep a reminder of their most painful memory.

And you all are idiots if you believe Obama thinks it's ok to kill babies after they are born. Of course, Republicans are very adept at misinformation and outright lies regarding Obama.

  24. Yeah, I guess killing an innocent baby is OK just because the sperm donor is a jerk.  I bet you agree with obama's view that babies are a punishment if they would interfere with your plans.

You poor selfish man.  I feel sorry for you.

  25. Umm. I would like to see the information where you got this from.

  26. Abortion, like life, is not black and white, but rather shades of gray.

They are not exactly known for their womans rights over there anyways. And I def disagree with the person above me who said Obama supports killing babies who r a product of failed abortions. I think that we can ALL agree that that is murder

  27. The woman has 5 kids, I'm not really surprised by her stupid position.

She's about as addicted to having babies as a crack head is to smoking crack.

  28. Any woman especially, thinking of voting for her should think twice. I don't think abortion should be used as a constant form of a birth control but in certain tragic circumstances like rape/incest, comeon. Women should have a right to choose,...9 months, labor, pain and a constant reminder isn't easy. I think just because you do not believe in abortion personally doesn't give you a reason to infringe on the rights of other people. Forcing a woman to carry for 9 months is as absurd as it is risky.

  29. Nope. But the VP can't overturn R v W, so I will worry about more urgent matters. Like the fact that the Dems are currently trying to get more socialist policies in place. So even though I personally disagree with Palin's position on this issue, I care more about keeping our country from going down a more socialist road.
