Pallet expanders?

i am getting my pallet expander in 5 hours i am so nervous. When they put it on is it going to hurt? Advice please.

no it doesnt hurt it just feels weird.

but what does hurt, is when you have to turn the dial which pushes your jaw out.

that is a little painful.

plus, you cant eat properly because its in your pallet and food gets stuck easily.

also i had mine on for quite a while and it made an imprint on my tongue of the shape of it.

and whenever you need to swallow oyur tongue goes to the rof of your mouth instinctively and everytime it did that the shape of the expander was cutting into my tongue.

the imprint went after a few days but still it hurt.

but other than that it is fine.

this may seem bad, me telling you my stories, but you will get used to it, i just had a bad experience.
