Pallots Marriage index, there are two?

I have just started doing my family hisotry and I found my grt grt grt grt grt grandparents marriage on the pallots marriage index. Problem is there are two, the same names but about 2 years a part

You will have to try and see a transcript of the marriage certificate.

I would check the details on the second entry, I was told that this happened because of an amendment. The original entry had been over looked leaving  both of the entries.
