Palm Centro??? advice.?

Question

i just got my palm centro today and i realize the whole device cannot turn off. just the phone. if i bring it to school im afraid it will make noise or something. if i turn off the phone and switch it to silent {switch on top} do u think i'll be safe??? thxx

it should work on silent it will only buzz and if you still don't feel safe you can always take the battery
