Palm Centro question?

I'm thinking of getting the Palm Centro because it has gotten great reviews, is affordable, and looks good! But I was just wondering...I'm the type of person that drops my phone alot...Will the Palm Centro break if I drop it? If so, do cases work? Should I get insurance?

THANKS :)

  1. I love my Palm Centro. I don't drop it a lot but it is pretty tough. I don't have a case for mine, I just carry it in my pocket or purse. It's not going to break any easier than anything else similar, but if you're going to spend the money on it you should probably get insurance and just try to be more careful! I use the calendar constantly to keep track of appointments and things and I love the touch screen. You should get it!

  2. I just got one on Friday.  I do think it will break or crack if dropped on hard surface.  there is a silicone cover available which should help some.  and YES to the insurance.

  3. I love my Palm too even though I have the Treo 750. However, yes I would get a good padded case and an aluminum hard case would be better if you can find one. Dig around on the net and if they're available get one.

A wrap around that stays on your palm so you can use it in the case would be best!

  4. OK, I absolutely LOVED my Centro... Until it broke the first time. It broke for no good reason. I treated that phone like a baby. I read the reveiws, thought it looked cool and I love the fact that its text messages were set up like a chat. But now it's been about 40-ish days since I got the first replaced and it has to be replaced again. I'm not sure what happened this time either. I am very thankful my mom bought the insurance and so is she. Again, I don't recommend this phone to my friends. They all love it but I tell them no.

I hate to be a downer, but I'm not going to lie. This phone has been nothing but trouble for me.

Upsides: The keyboard rocks =D and the touchscreen is very cool.

EDIT: Nvm, it wasn't the phone that broke. It was the battery.
