::::::::Palm M130:::::::::?

Question

Icant get my Palm M130 to work...it is not taking a charge from the dock station...and sometimes it will go to the set up screen and ask me to touch with the stylus to calibrate it...but it is not responding with anthing when i touch the screen.....sometimes the sreen will flash black then go to the Palm logo screen over and over...its been charging for about twenty min with no success....the battery was completely dead when i got it.....does it just need to be charged for awhile? and is it possibly that the PDA dosent work while its on the dock?

One thing worth trying... while the M130 is sitting in the cradle recharging, do a reset (push an unfolded paper clip into the reset hole).

Don't lift it out of the cradle when you do the reset - it should stay in the cradle and continue charging.

An 'in cradle' reset will sometimes fix battery charge problems.
