Anyone know how many courses in the Palm Springs/Desert area there actually are? What percentage are private vs. public?

I was there this past November. I played ten times on ten different courses. They were all awesome. I bought the red dot pass over the internet and saved 300.00 bucks on green fees. I would say that 80 percent of the golf courses the public can play on and I would say there are at leat 70  or more golf courses.
