  1. Treos are awful. They use outdated, archaic Windows OS and even the newest OS 6 is still a POS (no pun intended). They freeze up if you forget to close applications after just a few hours. They are VERY slow and my colleagues with Treos haven't indicated much faith in the Treo's reliability. Plus, they're bulky. But I had the same debate when I was phone shopping just a few weeks ago too, and decided on the new Curve from Verizon. It's the most updated, least buggy, and has the benefit of being the third and most refined of the Curves (8310, 8320, and mine, the 8330).

The 88X0 is the World Edition. It's got no camera, the keyboard is supposedly incredibly uncomfortable (not in my opinion but I have tiny fingers), and the whole apparatus is quite huge. The Curve is a much better bet and is the most reliable BlackBerry available. Do a YouTube or Google search and you'll see nothing but raves about the Curve. It's not the same story for the World Phone (88xx).

I did a lot of research and no reviewer was even the slightest bit subtle about indicating that the BB Curve was the best phone.
