advantages:

1.   stayed compatible with software written from day 1.

2.   no multitasking - all power to one application at the time , so its much faster (except mp3 player)

3.  almost zero time to load an application (already resident in memory)

4. very fast queries and searces

5. zilion games and aplications

6. quick office or documents to go - great office software

7. very stable and holds batery longer....

8. can also ran linux

9 faster tcpip implementation

disadvantages:

you can buy new palmos boxes only from palm and other 2 companies...

the hardware is not as advantage as wince pdas
