Can training the lower palm of your hand cause future problems like arthritis like as if you were punching with you knuckles? Cuz i see no bone being hit, only muscle-tissue....

  1. If you are going to hit something or some one with a palm strike make sure you hit with one corner or the other, not in the middle.

When done correctly you do hit with bone, either the Scaphoid or Pisiform. These are bones in the wrist.  I prefer Pisiform because it sticks out real far and there is less chance of doing anything to your thumb.

  2. One way to prevent damage is too space your breaks apart, don't do like thirty breaks every week, instead allow you body time to heal and if your feeling any unusual pain try seeing your doctor.

  3. wlat is right use the corner it hurts way less and breaks half as easy if done right..
