  1. I'm with the above contributor, JoJo, on this one especially bearing in mind the size of your party.

For the journey from Palma airport to Magaluf, Shuttle direct are currently showing a price of £49.35p each way for 7 persons with cases.

Against this Taxipmi will charge 35 euros.  However, as you will require 2 taxis, this cost will be 70 euros (£56.00p approx).

Both can be booked on-line, and you will be met at the airport by a representative/driver of the chosen company.

There are, of course, taxis at the airport but in this case I would have thought it would be better having arranged it all in advance.   And you know the cost!

Whilst I have not used taxipmi, I have used Shuttle Direct a number of times & have always been very pleased with their service.

    Have a good one.

  2. It depends on how much the holiday company is charging you for coach transfers.  If you do go for the taxi transfer, always agree a price before getting in the car, although the majority operate on set fares.  See this link for more info although I'm not sure how up to date the info is: - http://www.islas.org.uk/magaluf.htm

  3. Hi I do not know how much transfers cost but it is about 38 euros in a taxi to Magalluf. and you have to decide whether you want to sit on a bus longer whilst it drops of at other hotels first or just jump in a waiting taxi and be there in about 15 Min's. whatever you decide have a great holiday.actually i have just realised you said there was 7 adults, we use a company called coast rentals to take us to Santa Ponsa, which is next door you could try emailing them and asking them for a price they have small and large mini buses and they charge per rental and not per head, so it would be really cheap for 7 of you. the email adress is coastrentals@msn.com good luck.

  4. Whenever I travel to Spain, I always book shuttle-direct.

Of course you could just get taxis, although for 7 of yous, you would have to have two.  They don't actually have mini-buses at the taxi rank at Palma Airport.  The one above is correct, it will cost roughly 40e per taxi.

By booking with Shuttle-direct, which have always been the cheapest quote between all private transfer websites, you are guaranteed your mini-bus to be there and delivered direct to your hotel.

I have used them 7 times in the past, and they have always provided a good service and have always been on time to pick my party up from the airport and hotel.

  5. I agree with Lisa W,  the link posted gives quotes for taxis and shuttles and includes minibuses which will take 7 passengers.
