Paloschi joins Chievo; Cagliari target Ribeiro; Catania want Sorenson: Serie A transfer update
A.C Milan striker,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-Paloschi-c4338 has joined Italian outfit, Chievo Verona, on a season long loan deal.
Paloschi signed for Milan in this year’s summer transfer window but due to various strike options available at the club, Massimiliano Allegri has farmed him to the Gialloblu for his development.
The 21-year-old was fifth in the pecking order of strikers behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302 at the San Siro. Allegri rates the Italian U-21 highly and believes that sitting on the bench would
hinder his development.
The striker emerged from the youth ranks of Milan in 2007 but after making only 7 appearances for the Rossoneri, he was sold to Parma in the following season.
Chievo have also placed an option to buy the striker when his loan period ends.
Cagliari have identified Brazilian striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Suazo-c10611, who has been told to leave the club.
Suazo was on the verge of joining the Rossoblu but their Director General told him that he will not be bought and should find a new club for himself. Ribeiro is regarded as one of the best strikers in the Brazilian league and finished
as the top scorer in the 2010 Copa Libertadores with 8 goals.
The 25-year-old will be available for an approximate fee of 2-million-dollars.
Reports in the Italian media suggest that Catania want to sign Juventus defender, Frederik Sorensen. The Danish youngster will find first-team opportunities hard to come by at the Turin after the club signed Stephan
Lichtsteiner from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 this summer.
The versatile defender has attracted interest from several Italian clubs and it is believed that Sicilian side is looking for a 50% co-ownership deal with the Old Lady.
Juventus signed the towering defender on-loan from Danish side, Lyngby, before the start of the 2010/11 season and he made an instant impact at the club. The 19-year-old made 16 appearances for the club and has the ability to play
in the centre of the defence as well.
