Pams Tomjo and Inni Black in crucial contention for the Cab-It Silver Salver Final
Pams Tomjo and Inni Black make strong contenders for the Cab-It Silver Salver Final due to their incredible performance at Sittingbourne just through their most recent outing. Others in the field today have raced at the venue before but failed to display
as much certainty as the two mentioned above did. It is expected that they will keep their form intact for the 450 metres flat challenge at Sittingbourne on Sunday, 3rd September. However the potential and poise of the rest of the competitors should
not be subsided.
Racing for taking back to the connections the £750 prize money are Skidndaddy, Sable Blitz, Lenson Teddy and Kingsmill Super.
The three-year-old black hound, Pams Tomjo, is more experienced than the S. Spiers trained, Inni Black. However, the latter has raced more at Sittingbourne lately than at any other track. Not only has he raced there but has won at multiple occasions too.
The only time that he visited a different race track was when he had to get drilled and that was at Romford. His first success of the career was at Sittingbourne over 480 metres on 15th November, 2011. The early pace and the lead from the first
spot settled the race in 30.51 seconds winning by the margin by ¾ lengths.
Premier Fantasy’s son was successful in the very next career challenge but the fifth position in the Grade A3 480 metres flat race deprived him of the hat-trick that could have been made possible through the first three outings of the career.
The entrance of the two-year-old in the new season was nothing less than impressive as he won the Grade A3 480 metres flat race on 8th January, 2012 at Sittingbourne. He was quick to race away from the rest of the lot and then crossed the wire
gamely in 29.51 seconds.
Nearly six months down the season, the two-year-old claimed the Cab-It Silver Stakes – Heat 1 on 26th August, 2012 at Sittingbourne over 450 metres. Not waiting for long to race to the wire and leading soon had the dark hound on the other end
of the wire in 27.19 seconds. He defeated the favourite of the race, Kingsmill Super, by 3 ¾ lengths.
Pams Tomjo dominated the Cab-It Silver Stakes – Heat 2 on the same date, concluding the race in 27.28 seconds and winning by the impressive mark of 4 ¾ lengths.
