Panama Cat offering decent form in SIS Ltd Nursery at Wolverhampton
Well bred by Elite Racing Club, Panama Cat is born to win races, and it is just a matter of time when she starts collecting big prizes. Her fresh nursery form is not bad by any means. The Kevin Ryan-trained showed a lot of good momentum, when securing fifth
place at Thirsk last month.
She is expected to build on that good run, and produce a thrilling performance in the SIS Ltd Nursery at Wolverhampton on Thursday, October 04, 2012. Panama Cat is certainly a talented filly, who belongs to a family that her owners have had a lot of success
with.
The daughter of Tale Of The Cat, out of Oceans Apart, started professional racing in May this year. She has shared the podium twice so far in her career. Even though the 2-year-old could only seize the fifth spot last time, her form was quite impressive.
In the hands of Amy Ryan, she was prominent in the beginning. An excellent show in the middle stages steered the filly to a very strong position. She had every chance of making it to the top rank, but failed to seize the moment. Staying on one pace approaching
the final furlong did not help her cause and as a result, she completely failed to get a notable place.
Panama Cat just needs to stay consistent throughout the race. A star-studded line-up of a dozen runners is waiting for her in the class 6 meeting. The clash will be run over five furlongs and 216 yards. The show is going to get started at 17:40 GMT, and
the champion will receive a prize worth £1,704.
Hartwright may prove more competitive now handicapping at the ordinary level. Blazeofenchantment also looks interesting on nursery/stable debut. Sarahmanda had a possible excuse on nursery debut last time, and might do better today. Astrum also has a huge
room for progress.
After qualifying for a mark, a few participants look to have the potential to do better now. The recent stats suggest that Panama Cat is the most solid option. However, the bettors should note market moves closely. We wish the best of luck to all the horses.
