Panama Morro Negrito Surf Camp?

Question

I and My husband is planning on going to take a surf trip. And we are thinking going to Panama,but we are not sure because he read some reviews about the place and most of the them are saying it was not good.

I just want to hear from someone who have been there and how it was,the place to stay,food and of course surf!

I would appriceate any information. Thank you...

Devil's Beach on old Ft. Sherman is very good too !! You can surf inside or outside the coral reef .

The Panama is a very beautiful place.  If you are looking to go there for surfing I think it's a good idea.  When I went there last year the waves were like 8-10 feet high.  I'm not sure if that depends on what time of year though.  The food there was alright.  There is a couple fancy restaurant's there that were better than back at home (Pittsburgh).  I would go there again in the future.  If you go hope you have a fun time.

First Summer (June, July and August maybe September) is not a good time to go Surfing cause is rainy season in Panama.

Playa Teta. Playa Malibu, Playa Rio Mar,  Playa Santa catalina  and maybe el Palmar are the Best beaches to Surf in Panama..Now if you want some Challenge  you need to go to the beaches in Bocas del Toro.... I would stay in any of the Hotesl near by.  I know that the best contest are during the months of April and December...  The Person that is telling you that is not good, obviously does not surf...Food is great  you can find all kinds of foods from Mc Donalds to Chinnesse...The hotels are O.K.  The beach hotels are RUSTIC Hotels, but I guess that you should be used to that since you guys are surfers....

I do not Surf but I am PAnamanian, and I know surfing is one of the sports that a lot of people come looking for in Panama..
