Well very simple here in Panama Central America we have many surnames.   First we can start with the name of Torrijos not only is it the name of the existing president of Panama but his father was the person who negotiated the Panama Canal treaty with president  Jimmy Carter.  Another surname would be  Arias  this surname has a very big family and it too has a lot of history if you look in the history of panama and see what Arnufo Arias Madrid was.  Yes he was another president of Panama in fact he was 4 times president.  And so on.
