Panasonic DVD recorder failed to finalize DVD+R?

What can I do???? Can I finalize on the computer? What is the reason for this?

The reason for this is so you can keep adding TV programs until the disc is full.  The only way to make it work is to put it back in the machine that burned it, READ THE MANUAL on how to "finalize", and then do it.

Then it should be OK.
