Panasonic FZ18 versus Sony H50?

Question

Which is better in terms of image quality and which one is easiest to use?

These were two on a selection of 5 I was looking at after doing lots of research.  Several people told me to go into the store and handle the cameras and see what felt best and easiest to work with.  I did and this evening ended up buying the Sony as it just felt more comfortable and the controls seemed logical.
