Panasonic KX-T7433 can't receive external calls?

Question

I've been having a bit of trouble with this. It can dial out to external lines fine but when an external line tries to call it, it doesn't work.

All help is appreciated :)

what happens when you recieve calls? It may not have anything to do with the phone itself.

Try the following to find the culprit.

Using your mobile phone or ask your friend to call your landline KX-T7433.

Two possible tones will be heard by the caller.

1. Ringing tone. While ringing(heard by the caller), get the handset and check if you can communicate with the caller.

1a. The phone ringer is off. Turn it ON to fix.

1b. The phone can't detect incoming ring. Maybe you have one or more phones connected to the same line. Or, your phone ringing detection is too high. Ask a technician to fix it.

2. Busy tone. Means the tel office detected your phone to be in use but not actually. Ask a technician to see it. There's a problem with your base unit.
