I have a Panasonic MiniDV Camcorder with the serial number PV-DV103D. I lost the av cable to watch my movies on my television. I have looked in all the stores radioshack walmart target and best buy plus a few others, also online and cannot find one anywhere! The panasonic webpage does not even have the camcorder on there site and finds no information when searched and there is no contact information on the site either! I need the cable to watch my movies or the camera is basically useless. I have found HD and computer cables but I do not have an HD tv and idk if i need any software for it to work with my computer? Please help! Any information on where I can get one of these would be greatly greatly appreciated! This is my last hope! Thanks in advance! I hope someone can help me.

  1. It took a bit, but try this...

When you search the parts at Panasonic.com. use "pvdv103d" (no hyphen).

    Part Number: LSJA0280

    Description: LSJA0280

Price: $4.84 (this seems low - but whatever...)

As for transferring the video to your computer, this is a DVD based camcorder. If you have a drawer loading DVD drive in your computer, you will need to download and install a DVD ripper. I like HandBrake.

If your computer's optical drive does CDs only or is a slot loader, then the only way to transfer video is by getting an external (drawer loading) DVD drive or by getting an "analog/digital bridge" like
